FOOTBAG DENMARK

This brand new website is going to be the Danish platform for footbag instead of fodpose.dk. We now have a new name / web-address, logo, look, content as well as an English section.

• The reason why we have chosen the domain Footbagdenmark.dk is that we found the address more understandable and suitable than fodpose.dk. Most national footbag clubs / associations have a simple domain – footbag.countrycode. The distributors of Dracco footbags are after more than three years still not willing to let go of the domain footbag.dk for national use and benefit of the sport. We will not give up hope and are currently trying to find a solution. Naturally we will keep the old address fodpose.dk and it will now lead to the same website as footbagdenmark.dk.
• For many years it has been our wish to implement a light and clean design on and get a high degree of usability on a substantial website. It has also been our wish to get an English version. Now our wish has been granted, and the price was blood, sweat and tears along with countless hours of work.
• Naturally, this project has also cost money, which we decided to set aside for this specific purpose during our last general meeting. Yet these resources did not quite cover the expenses, so we have arranged for Café Bankeråt to become our sponsor on the website and grant us with a financial contribution to the new website. Now it has become a reality.
• Footbag Denmark is going to host the “European Footbag Championships 04” website. This is another important reason to create a more professional website. Now it has become considerably more understandable, presentable and attractive in terms of prospective sponsors and foreign players.
• The sport is rapidly growing in Denmark and therefore we must adapt in order to grow as well. This website is the entry to the sport for all the curious Danes. Here they can see what footbag has developed to become today in the year 2004. We would like to emphasize that Footbag Denmark has just as much to offer for new players as we have for the experts.
• 2004 is going to be a year where Danish footbag will experience a great boost. A lot is going on behind the curtains, all to be revealed here on the website in the nearest future. We hope you will all tighten your laces and get ready for a busy season packed with activities. Naturally the situation will be updated here on the website.
